About the artist:
Sarah Thomas studied at Manchester University, attaining a Bachelor of Crafts, in metalwork and woodwork, and later a teachers certificate in adult education. She emigrated from the UK in 1999 and now lives in Timaru. Sarah has enjoyed a number of wins at the world of wearable art and various similar competitions, including the WETA award twice. She has had work shown in New York, Hong Kong and at the Americas Cup in San Francisco. Her work has been used in various promotional materials e.g. work for tourism NZ for the Rugby World Cup.
